Studies have shown that engaging in arts & crafts activities can help improve the way we think, feel, and behave. Not only do arts and crafts give us a sense of accomplishment, but they also help increase brain capacity and can even slow down memory disorders and the onset of Dementia. What’s more, creative activities have been found to have a positive effect on both physical and mental health.

At MacCare in White River, our residents enjoy their regular arts and crafts sessions. Recently they made ‘puzzle trees’ and had the opportunity to let their creative juices flow to make their own, unique creations. Have a look…

We at Macadamia Care want to help make people’s lives easier and to provide the help that is needed. We provide services in line with the needs and preferences of our clients and do so in a way that is not invasive or regimental.

We have established Care Centres which offer a homely environment when home-based care is not a viable option anymore. At our Care Centres, we take pride in helping our clients to feel comfortable in their surroundings.
