The Jolly Cat Line Dancers visited MacCare at The Somerset Care Centre in Somerset West. All the dancers are residents of The Somerset Lifestyle and Retirement Village in Somerset West. The oldest member of this group – Antjie Boshoff (84), has been part of the group since 2019.
Line Dancing is a great way to keep fit, socialize and have fun, and is one of the activities that is promoted on the estate.
Recently, The Jolly Cat Line Dancers entertained our residents in the care centre. The event was arranged by two of the village ladies and was a win-win as we aim to involve the village residents in the life of our care centre.
Our aim at The Somerset is to support you in your own home within the village, allowing you to remain as independent as is comfortable for as long as possible. Whether you are fully independent – or could benefit from support or assistance – we want you to have peace of mind that with the spectrum of care options available, we can make sure your needs are met.
